Change Happens CDC falls under the stewardship of Families Under Urban & Social Attack, Inc. (FUUSA) which is a local, community-based, non-profit program primarily serving adults and at-risk youth in Houston and Harris County.

The mission of FUUSA is to "address societal problems that affect families by empowering the community through education, prevention, research, advocacy, intervention and collaboration."  FUUSA provides a variety of programs that demonstrate their organization's mission to respond to the community.  These include:

  1. HIV Prevention
  2. Homeless Supportive Services
  3. Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP)
  4. Substance Abuse Treatment
  5. Mental Health Services
  6. RESCUE Mentor Program
  7. Capacity Building and Technical Assistance
